On Saturday morning a service was held in Nagasaki at the memorial to the victims of the prisoner of war camp Fukuoka-2.
It is now almost one year ago (September 13, 2015) that the memorial was unveiled.
The Nagasaki Furumachi Church organizes from that date on this spot a service every year and this was the first serivce.
On behalf of the Foundation for Dialogue NJI, our president Tangena Yukari Suzuki attended the service and laid flowers. The service was also attended by the Dutch consul there.
